Voted the most attractive profession

They get the easy job, good salary and can work from home. These are the main reasons that programmers tops the list of the most attractive jobs.

Attractive talljobber

The list is based on 200 occupations that are evaluated and ranked based on government statistics in the U.S. from job site CareerCast.com , writes Tu.no .

Mathematicians have the second most attractive job according to the study, followed by actuaries and statisticians.

Unskilled at the bottom

At the other end of the list are a number of vocational and unskilled groups.

It is likely that several of these occupational groups have it easier in Norway than in the U.S., where labor rights are weak and wage differentials are large.

The least attractive profession, according to the study of unskilled workers on oil installations.

Tømmerhoggere and taxisjåfører

As the second of professions who come off worst are workers who are setting up metal structures for buildings, bridges and other large structures.

Loggers and taxi drivers have not attractive professions, we believe the study.
